The Room Nine Kids of Lincoln Elementary School in Manteca (CA, USA) Unified School District love teaching our KinderTechBuddies! Every student in our district has his or her own device! Since the beginning of this school year, we have taught our KinderTechBuddies how to log in to their devices, how to take pictures and how to create amazing presentations. We especially love sharing our knowledge of great ways to learn with technology!

Our KinderTechBuddies were just finishing up a unit of study on animals with their incredible teacher, Mrs. Musca. We had been helping them by talking to them about their favorite animals, then drawing them on our devices! Some of us used MinecraftEDU, some of us used Fresh Paint, and others used Microsoft Snip!

As a way to wrap up their unit, we thought it would be fun to let them pick an animal in our most favorite app of this year: Lifeliqe! That way, they could learn a little bit about their animal from the great resource material in Lifeliqe, and then actually take a picture WITH their animal! We set up a station and invited our KinderTechBuddies to pick their animal, we read about it (on Lifeliqe) to them, then, we took pictures! Our KinderTechBuddies were enthusiastic, engaged and excited to explore their animals! We love it when learning is fun!
